Bulletin 19 May 2019
  • Last week our LCEC chose a new church theme: “建立祷告的关系,装备服事的 生命.”Pray for a group of people who are attempting to come up with a suitable translation in English, that is short, precise, easy to remember and yet captures the essence of the theme. Not easy; pray for divine wisdom.

  • Last week we celebrated Parents' Sunday. Pray for all children to continue to love & honour their parents. That God provides for parents’ needs, to live meaningful, satisfying lives. For parents who do not know the Lord, pray God’s prevenient grace brings about their salvation & transformation.

  • Our church building committee has resumed their search for a suitable building this year. Pray God leads us to a place that fits the needs of our growing church.

  • Pray for our New Plymouth Mission Centre; that God continue to raise will- ing hearts and hands to lead the ministries there. Pray for strength and good health for Pastor Ting and shimu, both serving in their late 60s.

  • Pray for our English service trip to New Plymouth during Queen’s birthday weekend. Pray we have good participation from our congregations and our visit will encourage the members there.

  • Remember CMCNZ missionaries, Pastor Lu Qiong & his wife, at our mission center in Fiji. Pray their daily needs be met as they serve and reach out to the Chinese speaking communities. Pray the registration of our Methodist church there be sorted out soon.
